Vince Robinson - Project Development Coordinator

Vince has been involved with business development for nearly 20 years. For the past seven years Vince has been a partner and President of Development Services Inc. (DSI) in Ivanhoe, MN. DSI is a multi-faceted community and economic development consulting firm. Vince's primary role with DSI is to provide assistance to start-up and expanding businesses in the areas of business planning, organizational strategy and financing strategy. His experience also includes service as Business Finance Officer for Prairieland Economic Development Corp. and Enterprise Facilitator for Lincoln County Enterprise Development Corp.

Vince has been involved with renewable energy projects for fifteen years. He was instrumental in securing the windpower development mandates which opened the door for large and small scale windpower developments in Minnesota. Currently he is on the board of directors of a large scale (30MW), locally owned wind project and his firm also provides the administrative services for this project. He was the development consultant with Heron Lake Bio-Energy , LLC in Heron Lake, MN which is a 50 million gallon ethanol plant utilizing coal as its thermal energy source. His role with this project was to assist the board with strategic direction and to facilitate the pre-development by coordinating the efforts of the various and numerous consultants, engineers and contractors. Vince's strengths are building collaboration to achieve project goals, project facilitation and interpersonal communications.
