Meet the Team

Steve Rosvold - CFO

Mr. Rosvold has extensive domestic and international experience in financial management, business operations, asset management and funding in grain processing, energy and financial management industries. He also has extensive capital investment and risk-management experience in these industries. He has led numerous initiatives in various businesses resulting in significant profitability improvement while reducing risk.

Since starting the financial consulting firm KRM in 2003, he has provided strategic planning, financial management and M&A services to grain trading, grain processing, beverage and agriculture distribution companies. KRM currently manages the finance, treasury and administrative functions of an ethanol production business headquartered in the Pacific Northwest.

Prior to founding KRM, Mr. Rosvold served as Chief Financial Officer at the ConAgra Malt Group of companies. He implemented a strategic plan that doubled operating earnings while reducing the debt required to operate the business. In 2002 he led the team that refinanced the business with a creative funding structure, allowing maximum global flexibility in a rapidly changing industry. He held numerous executive positions during an 18-year career at Cargill Inc. as the Senior Financial Officer of Cargill's Worldwide Energy Business in Geneva, Switzerland. He, with his finance team, generated savings in excess of $1 million annually with creative business process improvements. As the company shifted focus to more environmentally friendly energy products, he led the team responsible for the sale of oil terminals in the United States and Germany. He also managed Cargill's financial-market operations and provided leadership in risk assessment, asset investment and financial management for Cargill's worldwide grain-trading and terminal businesses.

Mr. Rosvold is a certified public accountant. He earned his Master's Degree in Finance from the University of Chicago and performed his undergraduate studies at Augsburg College in Minneapolis.
