Lynn Jensen – President

Mr. Jensen recently stepped down from his position as state director of USDA’s Rural Development for South Dakota to join Rawhide Energy. Besides overseeing over $200 million in annual USDA loans and grants, he advised the national office on several committees during his five year tenure. He was asked to oversee operations and coordinate operations between USDA, FEMA and the State of Louisiana following Hurricane Katrina. His initiatives will become part of normal response for future disaster recovery efforts.

Prior to his appointment to Rural Development, Mr. Jensen was the Chairman of the Board of the National Corn Growers Association (NCGA). During his tenure with the NCGA, he served as Co-CEO, Chairman, President, President-elect and Chairman of the Customer and Business Development Committee. He was involved in all aspects regarding the association’s interest in ethanol. Mr. Jensen is also involved in several business ventures that related to adding value to agricultural and rural communities.
