Greg Schipper – Green Capital / Interim CFO Team

Prior to becoming Green Capital President and Managing Partner, Greg was an officer at the First National Bank in Sioux Falls for 15 years. After starting in the business banking department analyzing financial statements and creating credit arrangements with local business, he pursued a role in the investment side of financial services. Mr. Schipper became a registered investment representative and in 2001 moved into management for First National Investment Services Group. In 2006, he left First National Investment Services to become the founding manager of Green Capital, LLC., a venture capital firm created to finance renewable energy projects.

Mr. Schipper has a BA degree from Dakota Wesleyan University and received a double major in Business Finance and Psychology and a minor in Economics.
